LWG Gold, ZDHC alignment, audit clarity, water treatment, and process control are stronger when held beside disciplined imagery and formal certification marks rather than generic claims.
LWG Gold
AFI’s current Leather Working Group certification status is Gold, with continuous certification dating back to 14 June 2017.
ZDHC Alignment
Chemical discipline and process credibility should also be legible through ZDHC-aligned thinking, not only audit language.

The present certification cycle is listed as valid through 15 July 2026.
